Important information about your Private Piano Lessons1. Cost for private piano lessons is a flat rate of $80.00 per month for weekly 30-minute lessons. Payment is due on the first lesson of the month. A late fee of $10 will be charged per week if payment is not received after the 2nd lesson of the month. A return check fee of $25 will be charged. 2. Most months have four weeks but some have 5 weeks. There is no additional charge for the months with five weeks. These extra weeks will make up for the lessons missed during the following holidays: Thanksgiving week, Christmas week (Dec 24 to Jan 1), Spring Break, and Independence Day. 3. Registration is free. Music books and accessories are not included in the tuition fees and are the responsibility of the student and parents. 4. Make-up private piano lessons (because of unforeseen circumstances such as illness of student) may be scheduled, with prior coordination with teacher before (at least 24 hours) the scheduled show time for the lesson. The time slot allotted for the student's lesson is on a contract-time basis. No refunds are issued for lessons missed. No make ups will be given to students who have previously missed makeup lessons, or whose accounts are past due. 5. Students are expected to be on time for their lessons. It is necessary for each student to be courteous to the teacher and the other students, regarding time. 6. If there is any update or change to this policy, a copy will be provided to the parent/student, as applicable. 7. In order to terminate the lessons, a 30-day cancellation notice is required. No refunds will be given for partial months. 8. Unruly and disrespectful students will be immediately dismissed from the program with no refund given.
