Music Resources

It is very time consuming and sometimes really frustrating to find good resources on the web. Here I have put together some links to websites I have found to be pretty good, fun, and interesting.

Practice Spot

Practice Spot contains a large collection of useful resources including manuscript paper, theory sheets, music crosswords, rhythm sheets, sightreading examples and a very comprehensive music dictionary.

PBS Kids

The PBS Kids website contains a range of songs that children can sing along to. This is probably geared more towards the younger children.

ClassicsForKids.com

This is a great site for children and even for adults who want to know more about the classics. It contains a great A-Z list of composers, an interactive composer timeline, some simple music games, information about the instruments that make up an orchestra as well as a musical dictionary and some tips and advice for parents and music teachers.

If you know of anymore resources that you think we should add please feel free to send me a note and a link and I will look at it. I hope you will enjoy these fun websites and that it will add to your enjoyment of music.

Elna
